Giving Back in May

During the month of May Paramount committed to donating a portion of all Skin Care and Facial Treatment sales to Light of the Prairies, a Saskatoon foundation supporting people with intellectual disabilities.*

We are proud to announce that we donated $1800
to Light of the Prairies in memory of Ellen Gaunt.

This initiative was to celebrate Ellen's two lifelong passions: Skin Care and Giving Back to the Community.

Ellen was our "Queen Mom" at Paramount. She was the driving force towards bringing esthetic to Saskatoon. She owned and operated Paramount from 1968 - 2000 and continued to work with us and offer facial treatments up until February 2020, just short of her 96th birthday. Ellen passed away in June 2020.

Ellen's love for her community was evident in her volunteer work with numerous organizations. Always an active advocate for those with special needs; Ellen helped found, and served on the board, of Light of the Prairies Society.

Who is Light of the Prairies?

Light of the Prairies Society has the privilege to support people with intellectual disabilities. At the core of all they do is the belief that all people live their best lives when they have healthy meaningful relationships. This is facilitated by living out and teaching their 'Do Love First' philosophy with all individuals in every context.

YXE Woman's Week

Thank you to all who supported YXE Women's Week in March 2021. We raised $350 for Saskatoon Interval House.

The YXE Women's Week initiative supports both women fleeing domestic violence situations and local female-owned businesses. As a result of the pandemic, cases of domestic violence are more prevalent, and our local businesses are facing unexpected hardship, making this initiative more needed than ever.

Centered around International Women's Day – a global day dedicated to celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women – YXE Women's Week celebrates and empowers women by bringing philanthropy and entrepreneurship together.

Giving Back this Holiday Season

Thank you to all who participated in our Purse Drive for Hope Restored Canada! We collected 66 purses and bags filled with items in need for those who are part of the Hope Restored Program.

Thank you for your support!

Paramount and its staff members actively contribute to the local Saskatoon community through service and product donations that aid in fundraising efforts throughout the city.  We respect that all causes are important but please appreciate that we are only able to consider requests associated with Registered Charities.  To be considered, donation requests must be received a minimum of 6 weeks prior to the event.

The Saskatoon Sexual Assault & Information Centre (SSAIC) is the key recipient of Paramount's charitable efforts. Paramount DaySpa Salon Boutique proudly participates in the Annual Luncheon en Vogue Fashion Show with 100% of the proceeds going to the SSAIC.
To learn more about the SSAIC you can visit their website or follow them on facebook.

We are also proud to be a partner with the Saskatoon Hospital Home Lottery since 2018 as part of their prize package in support of our local hospitals.
