Giving Back in May

During the month of May Paramount committed to donating a portion of all Skin Care and Facial Treatment sales to Light of the Prairies, a Saskatoon foundation supporting people with intellectual disabilities.*

We are proud to announce that we donated $1800
to Light of the Prairies in memory of Ellen Gaunt.

This initiative was to celebrate Ellen's two lifelong passions: Skin Care and Giving Back to the Community.

Ellen was our "Queen Mom" at Paramount. She was the driving force towards bringing esthetic to Saskatoon. She owned and operated Paramount from 1968 - 2000 and continued to work with us and offer facial treatments up until February 2020, just short of her 96th birthday. Ellen passed away in June 2020.

Ellen's love for her community was evident in her volunteer work with numerous organizations. Always an active advocate for those with special needs; Ellen helped found, and served on the board, of Light of the Prairies Society.

Who is Light of the Prairies?

Light of the Prairies Society has the privilege to support people with intellectual disabilities. At the core of all they do is the belief that all people live their best lives when they have healthy meaningful relationships. This is facilitated by living out and teaching their 'Do Love First' philosophy with all individuals in every context.
